Thunderbird throwers thrive at Langley Pacific!
The 38th Annual Pacific Invitational Track & Field Meet was held this past weekend (July 16th and 17th) in Langley, BC. Thunderbirds would like to recognize some outstanding results from our throwers, listed below. Special praise to Sr. Javelin thrower, Kyle Nielsen who is having a fantastic season thus far. Coached by Laurier Primeau, Nielsen is currently the number one ranked Javelin thrower in the nation, with a personal best throw this season of 76.13m, which is also a current Thunderbirds Track and Field Club record.
Additional highlights go to Thunderbird thrower, Noelle Yau, coached by Don Allemeersch, for two personal bests in both shot put and discus this past weekend!
