VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR HARRY JEROME INTERNATIONAL: JUNE 26/27!

The Vancouver Thunderbirds will return as the host club for the 2018 VANCOUVER SUN HARRY JEROME INTERNATIONAL TRACK CLASSIC  on June 26th and 27th at Swangard Stadium in Burnaby.  Gates Open: 5:30pm Events start 6:30

The Harry Jerome International Track Classic is Canada's longest-running track and field event. In its 35-year history, world and Olympic champions, world record holders, Canadian stars and young hopefuls have thrilled spectators, achieved personal bests and, thanks to the vision and dedication of the Achilles International Track and Field Society, continued in their quest to become Faster, Higher and Stronger. 

There are MANY tasks and jobs required in order to ensure this meet runs as smoothly as possible. As the host club, ALL THUNDERBIRDS CLUB MEMBERS, FAMILIES, and FRIENDS are highly encouraged to register for a volunteer shift. This is a great way to get out and enjoy a fantastic evening of high calibre track and field, while fulfilling your volunteer membership requirements! For athletes competing at Harry Jerome, we ask that you please offer a few hours of your time after your event, or on the following day. Many hands make light work!!
