Bring a Friend to Practice Week!
THUNDERBIRDS WEEK OF FRIENDSHIP
NOVEMBER 28TH - DECEMBER 4TH, 2016
In an effort to encourage physical literacy, track and field participation, and the promotion of Vancouver Thunderbird's Club membership, allcurrent JD athletes are encouraged to bring a friend to practice during the week of November 28th-December 4th, 2016. Within this week, athletes have 2-3 practice options available to invite their +1 to at no cost. We are proud of what our club represents, our trained and dedicated coaching staff, and the work ethic of our athletes. As such, we look forward to using this hands on approach; encouraging others to develop a sense of personal-achievement through the sport of track and field.
Aside from our usual Thunderbird coaches, UBC Varsity athletes will volunteer to guest-coach each practice, and help out with the surplus of anticipated athletes.
NOTE: All current club athletes who bring a friend to practice will receive a free thunderbirds T-shirt with the logo:
"THUNDERBIRDS WEEK OF FRIENDSHIP. I BROUGHT A FRIEND!"
